Anita Nahal

Anita Nahal is the author of Animals: Prose Poems on Sentiency, Decency and Indecency (Kelsay, 2025), among numerous other books of poetry and prose. Her poetry-prose hybrid novel drenched thoughts (Authors Press Publishers, 2020) received the Nissim International Prize for Excellence in Literature. 

A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Nahal teaches at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.
