James Richardson

James Richardson is the author of Within the Hour (Copper Canyon Press, 2026); As If (Carnegie Mellon Press, 2023), which was first released in 1992; During (Copper Canyon Press, 2016); and By the Numbers (Copper Canyon Press, 2010), a National Book Award finalist. 

Richardson, whose other honors include the Jackson Poetry Prize and the Cecil Hemley Award, is a professor emeritus at Princeton University.
